A Must-Read Collection of Adult and Children’s Books by BIPOC Authors
A curated list of notable books by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) authors and illustrators. This literature celebrates a diversity of perspectives and inspires thought and conversation on a wide range of topics such as race, class, age, physical appearance and ability, gender identity, religion, and sexual orientation.

Why Curate a List of BIPOC Literature?
I noticed that it was nearly impossible to find BIPOC book displays in major book store chains any time other than February (Black History Month). As an African American woman, author, avid reader, and community advocate, I decided to offer a curated list of notable adult and children's books featuring Black, Indigenous, and People of Color ( BIPOC) authors and illustrators.
